CHILD accepts applications for admission year-round on a space availability basis. The admissions process typically takes one week.

The following steps are part of the admissions process:

  • Family reviews information packet
  • Parent(s)/Guardian(s) complete and send back inquiry form as well as any IEP, evaluation, and assessment materials
  • Admissions Team reviews records
  • Parent tour
  • Placement determination is made
  • Contract and registration completed
  • Determine start date
  • Intake meeting
  • Student begins at CHILD
